Technical Sales Manager - Western Europe
Borregaard LignoTech is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to further strengthen the company's position in Western Europe.
Borregaard LignoTech, headquartered in Sarpsborg, Norway, currently has around 600 employees, 8 production units globally and local sales representation on all continents.
The company has recently set up a new global business area responsible for growing its feed additive business on all continents. Borregaard LignoTech's product range includes lignin-based pellet binders and lubricating aids (LignoBond DD and PellTech), SoftAcid-acidifiers and Bypass Protein Technology.
To further strengthen its position in Europe, the company is now seeking a Technical Sales Manager for its Feed Additive business. Main responsibility will be sales of Borregaard LignoTech's pelleting aids in Western Europe, and specifically in Germany, under the guidance of a Regional Business Manager.
You will be a bright, enthusiastic individual who is self motivated and with a desire to succeed in sales. You will also need a full driving licence to serve this extensive sales territory, and the position will require that you spend 50% of your time travelling.
- Bachelors or graduate degree in animal science or feed manufacturing would be an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years technical sales experience in the feed industry or 3 years experience in feed manufacturing with an aptitude for sales.
- Fluency in English and German, oral and written.
The Technical Sales Manager will be based at Borregaard's regional office in Karlsruhe, Germany. You will be expected to live within commuting distance to this office.
